BAILEY DERAMUS NAMED NEW HEAD COACH AT RUDDER

Rudder High School in Bryan has named former Burton Panther Bailey Deramus as their new head baseball coach.

Deramus is a 2018 graduate of Burton High School.

He takes the place of Chase Sanford, who resigned to take a job in the private sector. Last season, the Rangers finished with a 5-19 overall record, and a 2-12 district record.

As a Burton Panther, Deramus was a two-time District Defensive MVP.

He later went to play college baseball for the Blinn Buccaneers and was a student manager and bullpen catcher for the Texas A&M Baseball Team.

Deramus later graduated from A&M with a Bachelor’s Degree in history.
