BURTON SCHOOL BOARD TO HEAR BOND UPDATE
The Burton School Board is set to receive an update on the bond project at a special meeting Monday morning.
Trustees will hear a progress report on the status of project construction.
During the last update presented to the board on July 18th, Burton ISD Superintendent Dr. Edna Kennedy said she had asked construction officials to have the football field ready by October 27th in order to host the homecoming football game.
An executive session is also planned for consultation with an attorney. Any action will take place in open session.
The board will meet Monday at 7 a.m. in the Burton ISD Central Office.
