TWO ARRESTED FOR OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

  

Two people were arrested Thursday in separate incidences for outstanding warrants.

Brenham Police report that Thursday morning at 9:55, Officers were dispatched to trespassing complaint in the 300 block of Boehm Circle. A male subject was reported to have walked onto a work site acting suspiciously. Upon arrival, officers located the subject identified as being Eric De Shawn Morgan Dancy, 43 of Brenham. Dancy was discovered to have multiple outstanding traffic warrants for his arrest out of the City of Brenham Municipal Court. Dancy was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Thursday night at 10:05, Officers responded to the 2400 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a welfare concern. A caller reported a female was walking in the middle of the highway. Officers located the subject, Christie Marie Stephens, 36 of Brenham, and discovered she has an active warrant for her arrest for Bond Forfeiture - Evading Arrest or Detention with a Vehicle issued by the 21st District Court in Washington County. Stephens was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.
