BRENHAM PRIDE TRACK CLUB RETURNS FROM JUNIOR OLYMPICS IN IOWA

The Brenham Pride Track Club is back home after spending last week in Des Moines, Iowa taking part in the AAU Junior Olympics.

Kevin Mitchell II was medalist in the 14-Year-Old Boys Triple Jump.  He finished 7^th overall at 38 feet and 3 ½ inches.

Quincy Adams II finished 9^th overall in the 14-Year-Old Boys Triple Jump. He totaled 37 feet and 5 ¾ inches.  He also finished 13^th in the 14-Year-Old Boys Long Jump.  His jump was 18 feet 7 inches.

Jakaylah Anderson finished 17^th in the 13-Year-Old Girls Long Jump with 15 feet and 8 ¾ inches.  She was also 28^th in the 100 Meter Dash with a time of 12.89 seconds, and 31^st in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 26.39 seconds.

Laynee Appling finished 52^nd in the 13-Year-Old Girls Long Jump with a distance of 13 feet, and 8 ¾ inches. 

Daliyah Richard finished 60^th in the 15 & 16-Year-Old Girls Long Jump with a distance of 15 feet 9 inches.
