SEVEN PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Seven people were arrested in separate incidences Saturday.

Brenham Police report that early Saturday morning at 12:35, Officers Lauren Vieceli and Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop at the 500 block of East Blue Bell Road. The driver, Bracken Bailey Bowen, 32 of Brenham, was found to be intoxicated and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered. Bowen was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated and transported to the Washington County Jail.

 Then Saturday morning at 9:00, Officers responded to an address located in the 500 block of Limit Street in reference to a wanted person. Officers located Gerardo Roque Zamora, 32 of Brenham, and he was placed in custody for Possession of a Controlled Substance. He was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday afternoon at 4:10, Officers responded to the 700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway in reference to disorderly conduct. A male subject as reported to be standing in a public place with his pants down. Upon arrival, officers located the subject, Floyd Schulz Jr., 57 of Brenham, and was taken into custody for Public Intoxication.

Then Saturday evening at 7:40, Officers responded to the area of the 4000 block of Highway 36 South in reference to a reckless driver. The vehicle was reported to be driving very slowly and failing to maintain a single lane. The vehicle was located and a traffic stop was initiated in the 2900 block of Highway 36 South. The driver, Mickey M. Harrell, 64 of Brenham, was found to be intoxicated and Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered. Harrell was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated- 2nd offense.  A handgun was found in the console of the vehicle during a search. Harrell was additionally charged with Unlawful Carrying a Weapon and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday evening at 7:45, Officers responded to a business located in the 2300 block of South Market Street in reference to a intoxicated person with a possible head injury. Upon Officers arrival, the individual was located and identified as Kris Jean Bellard, 52 of Brenham. Bellard was placed into custody for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday night at 10:30, Sgt. Sierra Randle conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Highway 290 West on a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver, Jameshu Lachelle Moore, 25 of Brenham, was discovered to have three active municipal court warrants for her arrest; Failure to Yield Right of Way, Unrestrained Child – Safety Seat Violation, and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Additionally, marijuana was found in the vehicle during a search. Moore was placed under arrest for the outstanding warrants and charged with Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday night at 11:50, Officers Lauren Vieceli and Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop at 100 block of West Main Street. The driver, April Marie Burton, 41 of Brenham, was found to have an active warrant for her arrest for Driving While License Invalid issued by the City of Brenham Municipal Court. She was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail.

  1. Why can’t people take care of their warrants? Multiple warrants no less. Scared of the consequences? Maybe think about the actions that got you the first one, and learn from it.
