THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY
Three people were arrested Sunday in separate incidences.
Brenham Police report that early Sunday morning at 2:15, Officers responded to a residence located in the 2000 block of FM 389 in reference to subject on location attempting to break into the residence. Initial investigation revealed, Wilbur Geovani Escobar, 18 of Brenham, was intoxicated and at the wrong residence. Wilbur was taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Criminal Mischief.
Then Sunday night at 9:05, Officers responded to the 200 Block of South Blue Bell Road in reference to a welfare concern. Caller reported a male subject was walking and fell striking his head. Upon arrival, officers locate the subject, Luther O’neal Ragston, 34 of Brenham, and discovered he was in possession of a controlled substance. Ragston was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance and transported to Washington County Jail.
Then Sunday night at 10:05, Officer Ashley Rodriguez conducted a traffic stop at the 200 Block of East Bluebell Road. Marijuana and a handgun were located inside the vehicle during a search. The driver, Damien Juntrell De’Anthony Phillips, 20 of Brenham, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz and Unlawful Carrying a Weapon.
