GRIMES COUNTY TRUE BLUE BANQUET BEING HELD AUGUST 19

  

The Grimes County True Blue Foundation is getting ready to host their third annual banquet. 

The banquet is being held at the Grimes County Expo Center in Navasota on Saturday, August 19.

The doors open at 6pm for VIPs, and at 6:45pm for general admission.

A fajita dinner, plus live and silent auctions will be held. 

The keynote speakers for the evening will be Grimes County District Attorney Andria Bender, Texas Rangers Captain Wende Wakeman, and actor/singer John Schneider, who is best known for his role of Bo Duke on “The Dukes of Hazzard” TV series.

Schneider is also going to be part of the musical entertainment for the evening, which will include country singers Mark Chesnutt, Payton Howie, and Brian Sacco.

Proceeds from the banquet will be used to purchase equipment for local enforcement, provide financial support or other needs for officers who have been injured in the line of duty, and for scholarships to attract men and women to attend a law enforcement academy.
