WOMAN ARRESTED WEDNESDAY

  

A woman was arrested Wednesday after Officers responded to a weapon involved situation.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday evening at 6:10, Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Pleasant View Ave in reference to a weapon involved situation involving a person with a knife. Upon officers’ arrival, their initial investigation revealed it was a verbal altercation only. One of the involved parties, identified as Carrie Mae Ray, 59 of Brenham, was found to have two municipal warrants, Driving while License Invalid and Assault Family Violence. Ray was placed into custody, transported, and booked into the Washington County jail.
