NARCOTICS INVESTIGATION LEADS TO ARREST IN COLUMBUS

  

An ongoing investigation by the Westside Narcotics Task Force led to an arrest in Columbus on Thursday.

Around 11am, members of the Austin County Regional Special Response Team executed an arrest warrant at a residence located in the 1900 block of Bowie Street in Columbus.

43-year-old Ray Coleman was located and arrested on an active warrant for Manufacture and Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

The Westside Narcotics Task Force covers four counties and is comprised of investigators from seven different law enforcement agencies.

The Task Force thanked the Colorado County Attorney’s Office for their assistance with the investigation.

The Columbus Police Department, the Colorado County Sheriff’s Office, Washington County Tactical Medics, and the Texas Department of Public Safety assisted with the operation.
