BRENHAM BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT TO MEET MONDAY

  

The Brenham Board of Adjustment will receive two variance requests at its meeting on Monday.

First, the board will consider a request from Katherine Cooper and Colby Crouse to allow a 7-foot, 7-inch west side yard setback, where 10 feet is normally required, for a utility/mudroom connecting to the rear of the garage at a home at 500 West Alamo Street. 

The next item comes from Bevers Family Trust, who seeks to allow a reduction in lot depth from the minimum average of 100 feet to 77.78 feet for an L-shaped lot at 402 Cottonwood Street and 405 Botts Street.  The applicant wishes to replat the property into two lots to allow for sale and bring them into conformance with subdivision and zoning regulations. 

City staff recommends approval of both variance requests.

The board will meet Monday at 5:15 p.m. at Brenham City Hall.
