CUBETTE FINISHED WARRIOR SHOWCASE WITH TOUGH LOSS

The Brenham Cubettes wrapped up their weekend at the Round Rock West Wood “Warrior Showcase” Tournament by competing in the Gold Bracket on Saturday. 

In their first match of the day, the Cubettes lost to Austin Westlake 2-0 (25-18 and 25-18). Charli Crowson had 7 kills, Kristen Kuehn finished with 6 digs, and Averi Frazier dished out 8 assists.

Brenham, then, came back and beat Round Rock West Wood 2-1 (25-17, 21-25, and 25-16). 

Crowson had a triple double 15 kills, 10 digs, and 13 assists. Frazier finished with 15 assists and 12 digs. Kuehn added 16 digs, while Sienna Kelm had 10 digs.

The Cubettes run ended by losing two hard fought sets against Antonian 25-23 and 30-28 in the Consolation Championship Match.

Crowson just missed her second triple double of the day. She had 9 kills 10 digs, and 8 assists.  Frazier dished out 12 assists.  Kuehn had 18 digs, while Kelm had 12 digs.

Brenham is 8-4 on the season.  They now get ready for the New Braunfels Tournament later this week.
