THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY
Three people were arrested in separate incidences Saturday by Brenham Police.
They report that Saturday morning at 11:25, Officers were dispatched to an intoxicated person at Mulberry Street and West Jefferson intersection. Investigation showed that Floyd Schulz, 57 of Brenham, was arrested and transported to Washington County Jail for Public Intoxication.
Then Saturday afternoon at 2:00, Officers responded to shoplifting located at the 200 block of Highway 290 West. Occupants fled the scene prior to the officers’ arrival, but the vehicle was intercepted in the County. The passenger Delmont Woodard, 35 of Cypress, was taken into custody for Theft of between $100 and $750 and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Then Saturday evening at 7:40, Officers responded to the 2700 block of Highway 36 South, in reference to suspicious activity. Investigation revealed that Dione Collins, 36 of Brenham, had six active warrants out of the City of Brenham. Collins was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Sheriff’s Department where he was released to jail staff for booking.
