WoodmenLife Chapter 4645, which is located in Brenham, has been giving back to the community this summer.
Back in June, they brought meals to the Brenham Police Department and the Washington County Sheriff’s Office as a way of thanking the officers for all that do to keep the community safe.
Last week, the organization presented American flags to each of the Brenham ISD campuses.
Recruiting Manager Amanda Kohring said Woodmen Life has presented flags for many years to all the schools in Brenham ISD.
She added that WoodmenLife has always promoted American patriotism, and that’s why they’ve presented more than 3.5 million flags to nonprofit organizations, schools and communities nationwide.

Coming up on Thursday at 1:30pm, WoodmenLife representatives are meeting with Public Works Director Dane Rau and other City employees at the Henderson Park fighter jet display to present 35 US Flags and 30 Texas Flags.
The flags will be displayed by the City on patriotic holidays all along Austin Street from Blue Bell Road to Tom Green Street.
