BLINN SUMMER II ENROLLMENT UP 6 PERCENT FROM 2022
Blinn College’s summer II enrollment numbers were up by 6.04 percent from the same term in 2022.

Vice Chancellor for Student Services Dr. Becky McBride provided an enrollment report this (Tuesday) morning to the Blinn Board of Trustees.
The College enrolled 4,058 students for this year’s summer II term, which ran from July 10th to August 7th. That is up 238 students from Blinn’s summer II total from last year.
Students compiled 262,640 contact hours, an increase of 7.17 percent from the previous year.
The largest enrollment numbers came from those signed up for online classes at 3,428 students, which was up 11.51 percent from a year ago. Following that was 315 students on the Bryan Campus, 137 at RELLIS and 73 on the Brenham Campus.
Blinn’s fall semester begins next Wednesday, August 23rd.
In other business at today’s meeting, the board approved the proposed Fiscal Year 2024 audit plan and Fiscal Year 2023 annual internal audit report related to the districtwide risk assessment effort. The audit plan evaluates risks and internal controls in place for various operations and performs follow-ups on prior audit findings.
Trustees also accepted a report on database administration, follow-up procedures over safety and security, admissions and registrar, facilities and maintenance, accounting and financial aid, information technology services and cybersecurity.
