SEVEN PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

Seven people were arrested Saturday in separate incidences by Brenham Police.

They report that Saturday morning at 10:00, Officers responded to an address located in the 300 block of Rippetoe Street in reference to a wanted subject. Mark Anthony Gonzales, 28 of Brenham, was located and placed under arrest for Motion to Revoke Probation on Assault on a Family or Household Member by Impeding Breath or Circulation. Gonzales was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday afternoon at 12:30, Officer Lauren Vieceli conducted a traffic stop at the 800 block of North Blue Bell Road. The driver, Clinton Paul Arnold, 51 of Spring, was discovered to be operating a motor vehicle during a period his license was suspended. Arnold was placed into custody for Driving While License Invalid Enhanced and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday evening at 6:20, Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop at the 1900 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Juan Elias Rosales-Quiroz, 45 of Lockhart, exhibited signs of being intoxicated. Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and due to his performance he was placed under arrest for Driving While Intoxicated- 2nd Offense. Quiroz was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday night at 9:40, Officers responded an address located in the 1500 block of Lauraine Street in reference to a disturbance. A vehicle was stopped leaving the area. Investigation revealed one of the occupants, Anthony Fitzgerald Levy Jr., 25 of Brenham, to have outstanding warrants for his arrest for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and No Driver’s License issued out of the City of Brenham Municipal Court. Levy Jr. was taken into custody for two active warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail. 

Then Saturday night at 10:40, Officer Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop at the 1300 block of South Jackson Street. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver identified as Tamya Williams, 19 of Cedar Creek, was in possession of marijuana. Williams was taken into custody and was transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces.  

Then early Sunday morning at 12:30, Sergeant Sierra Randle conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of Airline Drive and Progress Drive on a vehicle for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Jeremai Gregory Jenkins, 26 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Resist Arrest Search or Transport. The front seat passenger, George Thomas Garlesky, 28 of Brenham, was taken into custody for 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz, and Tampering or Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair. Both were transported to the Washington County Jail where they were booked in.
