THREE ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

Three people were arrested in separate incidences on Marijuana charges Tuesday.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday night at 9:10, Corporal Jose Perez and Officer Garrett Downs were patrolling the area of Pleasant View Avenue and Fairview Avenue when they came into contact with a suspicious vehicle occupied by several individuals. A strong presence of visible smoke along with a strong odor of burnt marijuana gave officers probable cause to search the vehicle and occupants. Two passengers in the vehicle were discovered to be in possession of marijuana and were placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. in a Drug Free Zone.  Christopher Charles, 18 of Tomball, and Laurence Tillman, 18 of Missouri City, were transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.

Then Tuesday night at 10:50, Officer Lauren Vieceli and Corporal Armando Guerra conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of South Jackson Street and West Sixth Street. Marijuana was found inside the vehicle during a probable cause search. The driver, Reginald Givhan, 19 of Kennesaw, Georgia, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.
