BRENHAM POLICE INVESTIGATING THEFT
The Brenham Police Department is asking for the public’s help in solving a catalytic converter theft.
Brenham Police report that Wednesday evening at 7:20, Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of Highway 290 East in reference to a lapsed catalytic convertor theft. Unknown persons stole two catalytic convertors from a pickup truck while parked and unoccupied. Information was gathered and the case is pending further investigation. If the city would not have disbanded the citizens on patrol the visibility seemed to stop some of this from happening or even caught them in the process now ya hardly see a police unit
