Faith Mission welcomes the newest student to its field placement internship program.

Destiny Broussard is spending 10 weeks of her fall semester with Faith Mission as part of her studies at Prairie View A&M University.

Broussard, a Houston native who is majoring in health and kinesiology and plans to graduate this winter, wants to use this time to help her determine which career path is best for her.

Broussard, who has a four-month-old daughter, believes she will be able to provide support and assistance to other new mothers through the Women Infant and Children (WIC) program.

Faith Mission Executive Director Rev. Randy Wells says he looks forward to guiding Broussard throughout the program.

Since 2009, Faith Mission has welcomed associate- to doctoral-level students from universities in-state and out-of-state, providing them real-world training and experience.
