ONE ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

One person was arrested Wednesday after a traffic stop.
Brenham Police report that Wednesday morning at 8:25, Sergeant Ashley Burns conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic violation in the 1700 block of East Stone Street. Investigation revealed the driver, Kristina Watkins, 42 of Washington, to have four active municipal warrants for her arrest. Watkins was taken into custody for the warrants and transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in.
