AUSTIN MAN ARRESTED THURSDAY NIGHT

  

An Austin man was arrested Thursday night after a suspicious vehicle call.

Brenham Police report that Thursday night at 10:30, Officers responded to the 700 block of Brown Street in reference to a suspicious vehicle. Investigation revealed the occupant, William Thomas Jackson, 51 of Austin, was intoxicated in a public place and in possession of marijuana. Jackson was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz along with Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.
