THREE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Three people were arrested by Brenham Police Saturday.

They report that Saturday morning at 6:30, Officers responded to the 400 block of North Baylor Street in reference to a lapsed Burglary of Vehicle. Investigation revealed two vehicles were burglarized. Information was gathered and a report was generated. The cases are under investigation by the Criminal Investigation Division.

Then Saturday morning at 11:45, Officer Bryan Morong initiated a traffic stop near the 2100 block of South Day Street for a traffic violation. Investigation revealed the driver, Erika Ray Dawson, 29 of Hempstead, to have two active warrants; Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility, and Expired Driver’s License, out of the Washington County JP court. Dawson was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday afternoon at 1:10, Seargeant Sierra Randle conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of South Day Street. Investigation revealed the driver, Megan Leigh Lynch, 33 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Driving While License Invalid, Enhanced. Lynch was transported to the Washington County Jail. Lynch also received a citation for Expired Registration.

Then Saturday afternoon at 4:55, Officers responded to the 700 Block of Fairview Ave in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival, Investigation revealed that the suspect, Gloria Michele Martinez-Cruz, 38 of Brenham, assaulted the victim, a child under the age of fifteen. Cruz was placed in custody for Injury to a Child and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
