TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED MONDAY

  

Two people were arrested by Brenham Police Monday.

They report that Monday afternoon at 2:05, Officers were dispatched to a disturbance call in the 300 block of Peabody Street. Investigation revealed Jonathan Nicholas Wetmore, 32 of Brenham, assaulted the victim during the altercation. Wetmore was transported to Washington County Jail and booked on Assault Family Violence.

Then Monday afternoon at 3:00, Officers responded to the 900 block of Gay Hill Street in reference to a lapsed vehicle burglary. Investigation revealed that a unknown person entered a vehicle without the owner’s consent and removed a money order from the center console. The case is currently under investigation by the Criminal Investigation and if anyone has information, they are asked to call 979-337-7373.

Then Monday afternoon at 5:25, Officer Ashley Rodriguez initiated a traffic stop near the 1200 block of Burleson Street. The driver, Daniel Rivas-Gonzalez, 45 of Brenham, was taken into custody for an active warrant for Evading Arrest or Detention and Resisting Arrest or Failure to ID and transported to the Washington County Jail.
