FOUR PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY

  

Four people were arrested in separate incidences Sunday.

Brenham Police report that Sunday morning at 9:55, Officer Myles Masters conducted a traffic stop on a passenger car for a traffic violation. The driver, Jayden Cloud, 21 of Converse, Texas, was discovered to have an active warrant out of the City of Brenham Municipal Court, Parked in Handicapped Zone. Jayden was transported to the Washington County Jail, booked in on the warrant, and released to jail staff without incident.

Then Sunday morning at 11:05, Officers were dispatched to a shoplifting call in the 2300 Block of South Market Street. Investigation revealed that Michelle Williams, 32 of Abilene, was shoplifting.  Narcotics were located inside the vehicle during a search. Further investigation revealed that the vehicle's driver, Monty Monroe, 36 of Clinton, Oklahoma, to have an active warrant out of Oklahoma. Both Williams and Monroe were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and the outstanding warrant out of Oklahoma was served on Monroe.

Then Sunday evening at 6:20, Officer Eric Crosby conducted a traffic stop for an moving violation. The driver, Jamaley Lathereio Evans, 33 of Killeen, was found to be in Possession of Marijuana. Evans was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
