TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED ON MARIJUANA CHARGES

  

Two people were arrested in separate incidents on marijuana charges Monday.

Brenham Police report that Monday morning at 9:30, Officer Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop at the intersection of West First Street and Green Street. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver, identified as Kyndal Holt, 19 of Tyler, was in possession of marijuana. Holt was taken into custody and was transported to the Washington County Jail where she was booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and was released to jail staff.

Then early Tuesday morning at 12:25, Officer Lauren Vieceli checked out with a suspicious vehicle at Jackson Street Park. Marijuana was found inside the vehicle during a probable cause search. The driver, Christopher Jones Belizaire, 20 of Florida, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. in a Drug Free Zone and transported to the Washington County Jail.
