Three people were arrested Sunday on various charges.
Brenham Police report that Sunday morning at 9:10, Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the 2400 block of North Park Street. Probable cause was developed and a search of the vehicle was conducted. The driver, George Franklin Hicks, 35 of Federal Way, Washington, was found to be in possession of marijuana. Hicks was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then Sunday afternoon at 12:45, Officers responded to a business located in the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a theft. Investigation revealed Delfina Tapia Navarro, 57 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Theft of Property between $100 and $750 and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Then Sunday night at 10:30, Officers were again dispatched to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a shoplifting call. Initial investigation revealed Ethan Charles Brown,19 of Port Neches, pushed a basket full of items that were not paid for past the point of sale. Brown was taken into custody for Theft between $750 and $2,500, and transported to the Washington County Jail without incident.
