WASHINGTON COUNTY FAIR AG MECHANICS SHOW RESULTS
Two members of Washington County 4-H took home the top spots at the Washington County Fair Ag Mechanics Contest that took place on Sunday.
Luke Brown won Grand Champion Ag Mechanics with his 1957 John Deere 420Ts. Luke is in the 11th grade and is home schooled. Seth Brown won Reserve Champion Ag Mechanics with his 1948 Ford 8N. Seth is in the 12th grade and is also homeschooled. Both took part in the Reconditioned and Refurbished category.
Kenleigh Wellmann and Landon Flisowski were named as Showmanship Champions.
Kenleigh exhibited a green deer feeder. She is a member of Brenham FFA and a junior at Brenham High School.
Landon exhibited a hunting blind. He is a member of Washington County 4-H and is also a junior at Brenham High School.
For Agricultural Machinery and Equipment, Corbin Janner of the Brenham FFA won first place, while Luis Valdez of the Brenham FFA won second place.
For Livestock Handing Equipment, John Brode of the Burton FFA won first place, while Katy Whitfield and Kalli Pohl of the Burton FFA won second place.
For the Home Convenience/Recreation category, Michael Gonzalez of the Brenham FFA won first place, while the team of Kelsie Hohlt, Zoe Jaegar, and Taiden Thiel of the Burton FFA won second place.
For the Wildlife/Non-Traditional Ag category, Landon Flisowski of the Washington County 4-H won first place, while Gage Kmiec took home second place.
