TWO GAS CALLS FOR BRENHAM FIRE DEPT. MONDAY

  

The Brenham Fire Department responded to a pair of gas calls on Monday.

Just past noon, firefighters were dispatched to the 1900 block of Northview Circle Drive for a report of a gas line leaking.  They arrived on location to find the City of Brenham Gas Department was already on scene and had capped the gas line off. 

Around 6:15 p.m., units were called out to the 800 block of East Academy Street for a report of a gas smell.  When they made it to the scene, they found no readings on the gas detector.  BFD members stood by until employees from the gas department arrived on location before returning to service.
