The Burton Lady Panther Volleyball Team won a five set thriller over the Richards Lady Panthers 3-2 last (Tuesday) night at the Burton High School Gym.

Burton won the first set 25-23, but Richards came back to take the second set 25-21, and tie the match 1-1.

Burton retook the lead by winning the third set 25-18, but Richards won the fourth set 25-22 to tie the match 2-2.

Burton would then finished off Richards by winning the fifth set 15-7.

Kinsey Lunbeck led the offense with 15 kills. Amaya Williams added 14 kills and 13 digs. Aerynn Huntsman had 13 kills, 20 digs, and four aces. Bailey Glaesmann chipped in with 10 kills. Paige Fritsch dished out 56 assists and 10 digs. Burton also got 20 digs from Reagan Roemer and 11 digs from Kelsie Hohlt.

Next up, Burton will be traveling to Snook for a district matchup on Friday at 4pm.
