WASHINGTON COUNTY COMMISSIONERS MEET ON TUESDAY
The Washington County Commissioners Court will be holding three public hearings during their next meeting on Tuesday.
The first hearing will be about installing “No Thru Truck” signs on Rolling Creek Road from FM 389 to Sawmill Road in Precinct 4.
The second hearing is to install “No Thru Truck” signs on Wellmann Road from Highway 105 to Lone Star Road in Precinct 1.
The third hearing is for a request to install striping for a two directional no passing zone for approximately 4,080 feet on Mustang Road near its intersection with Woodward Springs Road Intersection in Precinct 2.
Then, they will discuss in regular session whether or not to approve each of the items.
Also, during the meeting, the Commissioners are expected to approve a Mass Gathering permit and a Right of way permit for the upcoming 2023 Scarecrow Festival in Chappell Hill.
They will also discuss and possibly act to approve the 3rd year Amended Contract for Corrhealth, which is the provider for health care programs and service for the inmates and the Washington County Jail.
The Washington County Commissioners meet Tuesday at 9am at the Courthouse.
