CUBETTES BEAT A&M CONSOLIDATED IN DISTRICT PLAY

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team picked up another a district win on Friday night as they knocked off the A&M Consolidated Lady Tigers 3-1.
Brenham won the first set 25-19. Consol won the second set 26-24. Brenham then came back to win the final two sets 25-18 and 25-22.
Charli Crowson had another triple-double with 12 kills, 19 digs, and 21 assists. Shelbey Cross was right behind her with 11 kills. Lillie Thibodeaux finished with 10 kills and 7 blocks. Averi Frazier had a double-double with 17 assists and 13 digs.
Kristen Kuehn led the defense with 23 digs, while Sienna Kelm added 16 digs. Brooklin Frazier chipped in with 9 digs and 4 aces.
Brenham improves to 8-1 in district, while A&M Consolidated drops to 0-9.
Next Up: The Cubettes will host Bryan Rudder tomorrow (Tuesday) night at 6pm at the Brenham High School Gym. It is Dig Pink Night. All proceeds from the event go to the Side Out Foundation for breast cancer research.
