FIVE PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY NIGHT

Five people were arrested Saturday in two separate incidents.

Brenham Police report that Saturday night at 9:30, Officer Ashley Rodriguez conducted a traffic stop near the 1900 block of South Austin Street. Marijuana and THC vape pens were located during a probable cause search. The driver, Connor Ostendorf, 25 of Ledbetter, was placed under arrest for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance. The passenger, Andrea Scoville, 23 of Bellville, was placed under arrest for Possession of a Controlled Substance. Both subjects were transported to Washington County Jail.

Then at 11:35, Officers responded to the 2300 block of South Market Street in reference to a disturbance. Investigation revealed that Aaron McClarnon, 33 of Brenham, Celia White, 39 of Round Rock, and Ryan Singleton, 39 of Hempstead, were intoxicated and assaulted each other. Singleton was also found to be in possession of a controlled substance. McClarnon and White were taken into custody for Public Intoxication and Disorderly Conduct, Fighting with Another. Singleton was taken into custody for Public Intoxication, Disorderly Conduct, Fighting with Another, and Possession of a Controlled Substance. McClarnon, White, and Singleton were all booked into the Washington County Jail.
