TWO PEOPLE ARRESTED SUNDAY

  

Two people were arrested Sunday in separate incidents.

Brenham Police report that Sunday evening at 6:15, Officer Eric Crosby conducted a traffic stop in the 900 block of Highway 290 West. The driver, Daniel Cipriano Jr., 47 of Lancaster, was discovered to be operating a motor vehicle during a period his license was under suspension. He was placed into custody for Driving While License Invalid and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Sunday night at 11:25, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 100 block of Highway 290 West. Marijuana and a handgun were located during a probable cause search. The driver, Trenton Price, 32 of Conroe, was also found tampering with evidence. Trenton was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz., Unlawful Carrying of a Weapon, and Tampering or Fabricating Physical Evidence with Intent to Impair.
