BRENHAM BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT APPROVES VARIANCE, SPECIAL EXCEPTION REQUEST

  

The Brenham Board of Adjustment approved a pair of items during its meeting on Monday.

Firstly, the board approved a request from Nathan and Mackenzie Knutson to allow reduced side and rear yard setbacks for a detached garage and storage overhang at 1504 South Market Street.  All adjacent property owners wrote letters of support, with two in attendance at the meeting.

The board approved a 1-foot, 6-inch setback for the rear yard and a 3-foot north side yard setback. 

After that, the board passed a special exception request from Charles D. Lott to permit the replacement of a manufactured home at 416 Lott Lane due to the previous home being damaged by fire.
