AUSTIN CO. RESCINDS BURN BAN
Austin County is no longer under a burn ban.
On Monday, Austin County Commissioners voted to end the county’s outdoor burning restrictions.
The decision came after several inches of rain fell last week.
Washington, Burleson and Colorado counties have also lifted their burn bans, while Brazos, Fayette, Grimes, Lee and Waller counties still have theirs in place as of today (Wednesday).
