THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED ON WARRANTS

  

Three people were arrested Tuesday for outstanding warrants.

Brenham Police report that Tuesday morning at 8:05, Officer Vieceli conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle near the intersection of Church Street and West Stone Street. The rear seat passenger, McKenney Kaylin Kelley, 24 of Brenham, was found to have a local warrant for Theft of Property between $100 and $750. Kelley was placed under arrest and was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Tuesday afternoon at 12:20, Officer Downs and Officer Marburger conducted a traffic stop at the 600 Block of West Alamo Street. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver identified as Kevin Miles, 24 of Somerville, had active warrants out for his arrest. Miles was taken into custody and transported to the Washington County jail. Miles had warrants for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and two counts of Failure to maintain Financial Responsibility.  

Then Tuesday night at 9:30, Cpl. Jose Perez conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Austin Street. Investigation revealed that Michael Nafegar, 30 of Bellville, showed to have an active probation violation warrant for narcotics out of Austin County. Once the warrant was confirmed, Nafegar was placed in custody and transported to the Washington County Jail for booking.
