SOMERVILLE MAN ARRESTED FOR SHOPLIFTING

  

A Somerville man was arrested Thursday for shoplifting.

Brenham Police report that Thursday morning at 11:50, Officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a Theft. Investigation revealed that Bobby Simmons, 66 of Somerville, was caught taking items and attempting to return them without first paying. Simmons was placed into custody for Theft of Property less than $100 with a previous conviction and issued a Criminal Trespass Warning.
