CUBETTES GET ROAD SWEEP OVER MONTGOMERY

The Brenham Cubette Volleyball Team won their fifth straight conference match last (Tuesday) night as they knocked off Montgomery 3-0. Brenham won the sets 25-19, 25-15, and 25-19.

Charli Crowson had another triple-double with 11 kills, 10 digs, and 15 assists. Rylee Sommerlatte added 10 kills, while Lillie Thibodeaux had nine kills, and Antyiahna Lang finished with eight kills.

Averi Frazier dished out 17 assists. Kristen Kuehn led the defense with 19 digs, and also served up five aces. Sienna Kelm finished with 11 digs.

The Cubettes are now 11-1 in district, and have clinched at least the #2 spot in the playoffs, plus they still have a shot at the district championship.

Next up, they will travel to Magnolia West for a 4:30pm match on Friday. They will then wrap up the regular season next Tuesday, October 24, by hosting College Station at 6pm.
