BRYAN DISTRICT OF TXDOT HOSTING VIRTUAL PUBLIC MEETING

The Texas Department of Transportation is inviting the public to take part in a virtual meeting.

The virtual meeting can be accessed by going to TxDot.gov and typing “District bicycle plan” in the keyword search.

In the meeting, residents are going to learn about TxDot’s plan for future bicycle mobility and help develop an approach that can be applied across Texas.

The meeting will be conducted in English and Spanish with materials available online.

Participants can take the on-line survey and provide input on how bicyclists want to ride on state-maintained roads and highways as well as location priorities for potential bicycling improvements.

In addition to the Bryan District, they also have district plans in the Laredo, Pharr, and San Antonio Districts.

The last day to access the virtual public meeting is this Monday (October 23).
