THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED SATURDAY

  

Three people were arrested by Brenham police Saturday.

They report that Saturday morning at 10:25, Officers responded to the 600 block of West Alamo Street in reference to a welfare concern. A caller reported a male subject was lying in the roadside ditch. Upon arrival, they discovered the male subject, identified as Jason Todd Hrachovy, 48 of Brenham, was intoxicated in a public place. Hrachovy was placed under arrest for Public Intoxication and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Saturday afternoon at 5:35, Officers responded to a business located in the 2800 block of State 36 South in reference to a counterfeit money being passed. Initial investigation revealed Eldrick Smith, 55 of Fort Worth, was in possession of counterfeit money, marijuana, and stolen property.  Another subject, Stacey Butler, 39 of Houston, was in possession of marijuana. Butler and Smith were taken into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail. Smith was charged with Possession Marijuana, less than 2 oz., four counts of Theft of Property less than $2,500 with two or more previous convictions, and Forgery of a Financial Instrument. Butler was charged with Possession Marijuana, less than 2 oz.
