SECOND DAY OF EARLY VOTING DRAWS OVER 250
Tuesday saw an increase in voter participation for the state’s constitutional amendment election.
Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson reports 255 people came to the Washington County Courthouse Annex on Tuesday, up from 163 on Monday.
Through the first two days, there have been 418 early voters.
The courthouse annex remains open for early voting from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through Friday. Next week’s hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 30 – November 1, and 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. November 2 - 3. Election Day is November 7th.
