THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED ON FRIDAY

  

Three people were arrested Friday in separate incidences.

Brenham Police report that Friday morning at 9:45, Officers responded to 1900 Cena Drive in reference to a Burglary or Suspicious person. Upon further investigation, it was found that Jose Jesus Prieto Rodriguez, 36 of Brenham, assaulted an officer on scene and was taken to the Washington County Jail and booked in for Indecent Assault and four active warrants out of Washington County; Two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, and two counts of DWI, one with a blood alcohol level greater than .15.   

Then Friday evening at 5:10, Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to a shoplifting call. An investigation was conducted and Jaime Perez, 40 of Brenham, was taken into custody for Theft between $100 and $750. Perez was also found to have an active warrant for his arrest for Public Intoxication. Perez was transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Friday evening at 7:35, Officer Grayson Marburger conducted a traffic stop at the 1200 block of Prairie Lea Street. Upon further investigation, it was found that the driver, identified as Christin Antonio Izzekell Torres, 22 of Brenham, was in possession of marijuana. Torres was transported to the Washington County Jail where he was booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
