SIX ARRESTED FOR ENGAGING IN ORGANIZED CRIMINAL ACTIVITY

  
Miguel Leos (Fayette County Jail)

Three adults and three juveniles were taken into custody after an investigation into organized criminal activity on Monday morning.

Fayette County Sheriff Keith Korenek reports that they received a call about a suspicious vehicle parked at a business in the Flatonia area.  Upon further investigation, the vehicle was determined to be stolen out of San Antonio and a vehicle belonging to the business was also found to be missing.

Later that afternoon, an employee of the business called and reported someone driving their stolen vehicle had come back to the business before leaving again. 

Mason Goodwin (Fayette County Jail

Lieutenant David Beyer and Deputy Mark Zimmerman, along with assistance from the Flatonia Police Department, made a traffic stop on the vehicle. 

Three adults and three juveniles were removed from the vehicle.

After further inquiries, it was determined that all six individuals were wards of the state who had runaway from various care facilities. 

The suspects were responsible for multiple vehicle thefts in San Antonio and the stolen vehicle in Fayette County.

Leah Martinez (Fayette Co. Jail)

17-year-old Miguel Leos of San Antonio was arrested and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity and Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle. 

17-year-old Leah Martinez of Conroe and 17-year-old Mason Goodwin of Conroe were arrested and charged with Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.

The other three subjects, who were all juveniles, were detained, processed, and released back to Children’s Protective Services.

  1. In other countries if one breaks the law one gets caned. In other countries one caught stealing loses a hand etc. Here in the USA criminals are babies. Therein lies the problem.
