EARLY VOTING FOR NOVEMBER 7TH ELECTION WRAPS UP

  

Early voting wrapped up on Friday in the Texas constitutional amendment election.

According to Washington County Elections Administrator Carol Jackson, 570 people cast early ballots on Friday, which was the final day of early voting.

The second week of early voting saw 1,728 people cast ballots, compared to 1,285 ballots cast in the first week.

A total of 3,013 ballots were cast during the two week early voting period.

The Texas Constitutional Amendment Election Day is coming up on Tuesday.

Anyone that did not vote early, but still wish to participate, need to go to their designated polling place on Election Day.

The polls will be open from 7am to 7pm.
