HEMPSTEAD MAN ARRESTED WEDNESDAY

  

A Hempstead man was arrested Wednesday on marijuana charges.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday morning at 9:10, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 1100 block of Highway 290 East. Marijuana was found inside the vehicle during a probable cause search. The driver, De Marcus De Shawn Dixon, 19 of Hempstead, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz.
