THREE PEOPLE ARRESTED AFTER TRAFFIC STOP

  

Three people were arrested Wednesday after a traffic stop.

Brenham Police report that Wednesday evening at 6:55, Officer Stephen Mosley conducted a traffic stop at the 1300 block of South Jackson Street. Investigation revealed that the driver, Arturo Enrique Gandara, 26 of Brenham, was in possession of marijuana, controlled substance, and has 3 warrants for two counts of Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz, and Failure to Yield.  A passenger, James Ira Thomas IV, 29 of Brenham, was booked in for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 oz. and Possession of a Controlled Substance.  Another passenger, Dandre Bernard Cardell, 26 of Brenham, was booked in for two counts of Possession Marijuana less than 2 oz, Prohibited Substance or Item in Correctional Facility, and 2 counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance.  All subjects were transported to the Washington County Jail.
