FIVE PEOPLE ARRESTED FRIDAY

  

Five people were arrested Friday on various charges.

Brenham Police report that Friday morning at 9:30, Sergeant Jimmy Ha initiated a traffic stop near the 1300 block of Highway 290 East. Marijuana was located during a probable cause search. The driver Angel Peralta, 27 of Pflugerville, was taken into custody for Possession of Marijuana less than 2 ounces.

Then Friday afternoon at 1:30, Officers responded to the 200 block of Highway 290 West in reference to shoplifting. Investigation revealed Izic Aden Bogert, 18 of Brenham, and Gaven Lane Moffett, 18 of Brenham, were observed leaving the store without paying for the items. Both subjects were placed in custody for Theft of Property between $100 and $750 and transported to the Washington County Jail.

Then Friday afternoon at 2:00, Officer Nicolas Conforti conducted a traffic stop in the 2100 Block of South Market Street. The operator of the vehicle was identified as Jason Daywayne Randle, 43 of Brenham. Investigation led to the discovery of Methamphetamines inside of the vehicle. Randle was placed under arrest and transported to the Washington County Jail where he was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance and Manufacture or Delivery of a Controlled Substance.

Then Friday night at 11:50, Officer Lauren Vieceli made contact with a suspicious vehicle at Jackson Street Park. The driver, Juan Antonio Bustos Alvarado, 33 of Hempstead, was found to have an active local warrant for No Driver’s License. Alvarado was placed under arrest and was transported to the Washington County Jail.
