NO INJURIES AFTER CLOSET FIRE AT BRENHAM HOME

  

No injuries are reported after a fire early this (Monday) morning at a home in Brenham.

Shortly before 2:45 a.m., the Brenham Fire Department responded to a house in the 1400 block of Pecan Street for a structure fire.  Units arrived and found all occupants outside of the house. 

The residents told the department that the fire was inside a closet in the bedroom.  Firefighters made entry and found a small fire in the closet.

BFD members extinguished the fire and used a fan to clear smoke from the house.  The fire was contained to the closet, though the bedroom suffered moderate smoke damage.
