BRENHAM MAN ARRESTED ON MULTIPLE CHARGES

  

A Brenham man was arrested Thursday on multiple charges.

Brenham Police report that Thursday afternoon at 4:55, Officers were dispatched to the 2400 block of South Chappell Hill Street in reference to a physical disturbance. Initial investigation revealed an assault took place. Darshawn Cortrail Veal, 26 of Brenham, was being placed under arrest for Assault Causing Bodily Injury to a Family Member at which time he resisted arrest in an attempt to prevent officers from placing him in handcuffs. Veal was additionally charged with Resisting Arrest, Search or Transport.
