WASHINGTON COUNTY CHAMBER SEEKING AWARD NOMINATIONS

  

The Washington County Chamber of Commerce has begun seeking nominations for the year end awards that will be given out at the annual Chamber Banquet.

The Chamber Banquet will be held on February 1 at the Fireman’s Training Center.

Awards to be given out include the “Man of the Year” and “Woman of the Year.”

They are also going to award three different business awards.  The Chamber will give the “Small Business of the Year” award for businesses with 1-49 employees, and the “ Business of the Year” award to businesses with 50 or more employees.

For the first time this year, the Chamber will award the “New Business of the Year”.  The New Business nominees have to follow the same guidelines as the other awards, but the difference is that the business must have started sometime in 2023.

Also being awarded is the “Non-Profit Organization of the Year.”

The winners are going to be selected from the entries received.

Nomination forms can be picked up at the Chamber of Commerce office at 314 South Austin Street in Brenham.  Participants can also give the Chamber a call at 979-836-3695, and have them send form to you in the mail.
