TWO WARRANT ARRESTS MONDAY
Brenham police made two warrant arrests on Monday.
Around 9:15 a.m., Officer Bryan Morong stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation near the intersection of Pecan Street and South Chappell Hill Street. The driver, identified as 37-year-old Michael Daniel Elliott of College Station, was found to have an active warrant out of Brazos County for Violating a Protective Order 2 or More Times. Elliott was placed into custody and transported to the Washington County Jail.
Shortly before 10:30 p.m., Sergeant Sierra Randle stopped a vehicle at the intersection of South Day Street and West Stone Street for a traffic violation. The driver, 29-year-old Tavia Deniese Parker of Bellville, showed to have two active warrants through the City of Brenham for No Seat Belt – Driver and Failure to Maintain Financial Responsibility. Parker was taken into custody for the two warrants and booked in at the Washington County Jail.
